Need an update to get more karma

I made it to black belt with one of my ninjas and as soon as that happen my Karma went from 45 to 30 Karma.. Whats up with that? I should be at 60 karma by now. And how are we supposed to upgrade our buildings and ninjas when all we get is 30 Karma? Its a rip off and I think you guys should fix it.
